WAIDE Awards 2027 — Founding Edition
WAIDE Awards 2027 — Founding Edition marks the first official edition of the WAIDE international architecture, design and intelligence awards ecosystem. It establishes the categories, judging principles, project archive and international community on which future WAIDE editions can build.
The First Chapter of WAIDE
The Founding Edition is intentionally positioned as a beginning. It creates the first annual record of projects, studios, professionals, developers, students and emerging creators recognized or published through WAIDE.
A Multidisciplinary Awards Programme
The 2027 edition covers Architecture, Interior, Landscape, Urban, Furniture, Lighting, Product, Kitchen & Bath, Material, Graphic, AI Design, Visualization, Conceptual, Installation, Student / Emerging and Development. Development includes seven dedicated subcategories, while Special Awards recognize Sustainable Development and Intelligent Development.
Human Creativity and Intelligent Tools
WAIDE treats technology as part of the contemporary design environment rather than as a substitute for authorship. AI-assisted submissions are welcome where the entrant clearly discloses tools, workflow and the role of human creative direction.
International Participation
The Founding Edition is structured for participation from multiple regions and markets. The WAIDE platform is intended to connect local professional achievement with international visibility through category, country, city, studio, project and author pages.
Recognition
Projects may be considered for the recognition levels defined by the award programme, including Silver, Gold, Grand Prix, Jury Mark and the World Trophy, subject to the final rules of the relevant category and edition.
Building the WAIDE Archive
Projects entered in the Founding Edition can form the first layer of the WAIDE project archive. Over time, the archive can connect projects to categories, locations, studios, designers, developers, jurors and award results, creating a searchable history beyond a single awards season.
Founding Edition vs. Founding 100
The Founding Edition refers to the first WAIDE awards cycle. WAIDE Founding 100 is a separate limited founding-status programme. A participant may be connected with one or both depending on the rules and eligibility of each programme.
