Who Can Participate?
WAIDE is open to established practices and emerging voices. Architecture and design studios, individual professionals, developers, multidisciplinary teams, visualizers, students and authorized project representatives may submit work, subject to the eligibility rules of the selected category.
What Kind of Work Can Be Submitted?
Depending on the category, WAIDE may consider completed projects, projects under construction, unbuilt work, concepts, competition proposals, visualizations, product and material design, installations, development projects and AI-assisted creative work. Every submission should clearly identify the project status and the role of the submitting author or organization.
How WAIDE Evaluates Projects
Eligible entries are reviewed through the WAIDE judging process. Evaluation considers the quality of the idea, relevance to the category, design resolution, context, user value, innovation and overall contribution. Sustainability, intelligent systems and the use of AI are assessed where relevant to the project rather than treated as automatic indicators of quality.

Recognition is based on the final evaluation process and the decisions of the jury. A digital certificate is included for awarded entries, while premium physical trophies may be offered separately where applicable.

WAIDE is designed to extend beyond the award result itself. Selected projects, people and studios can become part of the wider WAIDE ecosystem, helping international audiences discover work by discipline, country, city and project type. This creates long-term visibility around the people and ideas shaping architecture and design.
