Creating a Destination

Strong hospitality development is shaped by more than room count. Entries should explain how the project creates arrival, identity, guest journey, amenities, food and beverage, landscape, local connection and operational logic.

Evaluation Focus

The jury may consider development concept, market positioning, architecture, interiors, landscape, guest experience, sustainability, operational thinking, relationship to local context and destination value.

New Build and Reuse

Both new developments and transformed existing assets can be eligible. Heritage hotels and adaptive reuse hospitality projects should explain how the original fabric and new programme are balanced.

Team Credits

Hospitality projects often involve developers, operators, brands and several design teams. Complete credits help the jury and public understand who contributed to the result.
